Gastronomy Software Menutech launched in Spain to support HoReCa businesses prepare diverse, legally compliant and appetising food menus.

Berlin, GERMANY – January 29, 2019 – Menutech, the Software as a Service (SaaS) to automise the preparation of food menus, is now available for the Spanish market. Spain has one of the most demanding food service markets in Europe in terms of product quality and diversity, and is the most common destination in the EU for international tourists.

Lucía Sánchez Naharro, Sales Manager for the Spanish market at Menutech, outlines the market readiness and objectives for Spanish hospitality, restauration and healthcare businesses: "The two greatest challenges we tackle are the declaration of 14 mandatory allergens and the translation of food menus. This is particularly time consuming for businesses who offer daily and weekly meal offering, as well as those preparing seasonal menus in international tourism hotspots. Our objective is to accompany businesses in consistently complying with food information regulations and providing healthy and diverse meals to their guests."

Menutech is powered by artificial intelligence technologies to automate multiple aspects of the meal planning process:

  • Allergen declarations, complying with the EU FIC 1169/2011 regulation,
  • Translation in French, German and Italian, based on high quality and verified translations,
  • Layout and design, thanks to 30+ customisable templates,
  • Advanced integrations, such as digital publishing, nutritional value calculation, price optimisations and more.

Menutech will be exhibiting at the Hospitality Innovation Planet | HIP 2019: contact Lucía Sánchez Naharro to schedule a demonstration of Menutech at our stand 1E532 in Hall 1. Please get in touch before February 15th if you would like to receive an invitation (limited availability) from Menutech.
